OpEd: Clean Energy Plan a Historic Opportunity for Schools

With ever-increasing extreme weather events, the writing is on the wall: It’s time to upgrade our schools’ energy efficiency, install solar panels and geothermal heating systems and invest in electric buses. Fortunately, President Joe Biden’s affordable clean energy plan can help school districts do just that — as long as administrators know where to look.

I have written before about how the Biden administration is helping build our clean-energy economy. In the past year and a half, the administration’s affordable clean energy plan has created more than 270,000 jobs and spurred more than $352 billion dollars in investment around the country. It’s by far the most significant climate investment in our nation’s history…”
