Our Coalition Work
Supporting America's public schools to make an equitable transition to zero emissions while preparing youth to build a sustainable future in a rapidly changing climate is not a job for one person or organization. We are grateful to be participating in these powerful coalitions that support collaboration and coordination toward common goals and increase our impact on K-12 climate mitigation, adaptation, education, and equity.
The BASIC Coalition is a non-partisan coalition of civic, public sector, labor, and industry associations who support federal funding to help under-served public school districts modernize and build K-12 public school facilities.
The Climate Ready Schools Coalition works to ensure that the buildings and grounds of California's public schools are developed as sites of resilience and sustainability in this era of rapid climate change — securing students' health, safety, and learning through extreme weather events, environmental hazards, and other disruptions.
The Climate Resilient Schools Coalition is a diverse network that empowers teachers, students, and community members to catalyze rigorous climate education and infrastructure improvements in Massachusetts schools by passing and implementing climate action resolutions at the district level.

Save on Clean Energy is a nonpartisan, national public education campaign convened by the U.S. Department of Energy and Civic Nation. The campaign brings together a diverse coalition of voices to promote the Inflation Reduction Act’s new benefits and build a pipeline of demand for clean energy incentives in every state.
The Coalition for Climate Education Policy is a non-partisan network, working to advance climate change education and ensure that education and engagement are part of the toolbox of solutions to build more resilient communities, advance justice, and equity, and create a climate-ready workforce.
The California Environmental Literacy Initiative is a collective action network that seeks to ensure access to high-quality environmental-based learning for all California’s TK–12 students. We envision future generations that are environmentally literate and prepared with the leadership skills to restore the health of living systems and communities upon which we all depend.
