Energy Tax Credits for Schools

The Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) is one of the largest investments in the American economy, energy security, and energy infrastructure in United States history

Through Elective Pay, (Section 6417), energy tax credits that have been available to the private sector for years are now available to schools for infrastructure improvements that can create local jobs, lower operating costs for schools, and protect student health, learning, and equity.

At UndauntedK12, we’re working with partners to curate resources to help leaders in the education space navigate the opportunity to leverage energy tax credits and create healthier, more cost-effective, resilient schools.
