Panel on Funding Opportunities to Improve Existing School Facilities

On November 6-9, the Massachusetts Association of School Committees and the Massachusetts Association of School Superintendents hosted their annual Joint Conference. During the conference, UndauntedK12’s Sara Ross joined Matt Connolly from the Office of Climate Innovation and Resilience to moderate a panel of state agency and utility leaders. The panelists shared information about current and new technical assistance and funding programs to improve existing school buildings in line with Massachusetts climate law. These programs will help districts address aging infrastructure, safeguard student health and learning, reduce operating costs, and reduce climate pollution.
