Introducing the Massachusetts Climate Resilient Schools Coalition!

About the Coalition:

The Climate Resilient Schools Coalition is a diverse network that empowers teachers, students and community members to advance rigorous climate education and infrastructure improvements in Massachusetts schools by passing and implementing climate action resolutions at the district level. To date, we have over 40 district-level teams activated and advocating for change in their local communities.

How We Work:

District level teams of students, teachers, and community advocates, will work together to plan, write, introduce, and ultimately win climate resilience resolutions in their local school district. The Coalition provides support to district level teams along the way, including:

  • Monthly Organizing Network meetings with teams statewide

  • Slack workspace for intra- and inter-team collaboration

  • Resolution templates and other resources

  • Live office hours

  • Technical support

  • Networking opportunities

Learn how to get involved and register for our next Network Call! The CRS Organizing Network meeting series supports locally organized teams from across Massachusetts through the process of introducing and winning climate action resolutions in their school districts.
