Students, Schools, and Our Climate Moment
Book Launch! Stories of people taking action on climate solutions in schools.
Over the last couple years, our co-founder Jonathan Klein has collaborated with Laura Schifter of This Is Planet Ed to compile inspiring stories of amazing young people and educators, school facilities and food leaders, Superintendents and school board members working with their communities to get stuff done on climate.
In Students, Schools, and Our Climate Moment, Laura and Jonathan highlight how schools, educators, and students can drive meaningful change — preparing for extreme weather impacts, reducing carbon emissions, and empowering the next generation with the knowledge and skills to lead.
Through real-world case studies, step-by-step frameworks, and powerful insights, this book provides practical guidance for school leaders, policymakers, and advocates looking to make schools more sustainable, resilient, and equitable.
The book is available at Amazon, Bookshop, Barnes & Noble, and Harvard Ed Press (use code ABBT25 for 30% off).
